President of the People’s Party Tigran Karapetyan is satisfied with
the election campaign. Having had a number of meetings with electors,
they have faced no obstacle.

As for the public opinion polls, the candidate for the Mayor of Yerevan
does not believe in them. He believes that justice will finally win.

"In general, I think that there is no need to work hard during this
campaign to get votes. The more the parties conflict with each other,
the better for us, because people see everything. Actually, they
make our work easier, because people will vote for the party which
is unanimous, i.e. us."

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
