BAKU: Azeri MP Meets Representatives Of US House Committee On FA

AZERI MP MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF U.S. HOUSE COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Member of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis, head of the parliamentary
delegation to PACE Samad Seyidov met Wednesday with representatives
of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs Alan Makowsky and
Jonathan Katz.

The talks focused on relationship between the United States and
Azerbaijan, situation in the South Caucaus region, Armenia-Azerbaijan
conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and other issues.

Touching upon the geopolitical situation in the region, Samadov said
Azerbaijan is a peace-loving country, adding we want stability.

Attending the meeting, MP Asim Mollazade said Azerbaijan is a leader
country in the region.

According to him, the country is the main participant of several
projects including the Nabucco and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines.

The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual concern.
