ArmInfo. Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia has not validated the
reports by the ANC (Armenian National Congress) pre-election
headquarters on bribery in Nor Nork community, Prosecutor General’s
Office press-service told ArmInfo.

Earlier on May 31 ANC disseminated reports that a representative of ANC
headquarters became a witness to mass bribery near a college where the
polling station 1/33 is located, recorded the fact of bribe-giving and
called to the police.

The source reported that Police officers arrived in the place,
registered the violation and interrogated witnesses. However, the
police registered no facts confirming the report on the violation. It
turned out that ANC representative was not a witness. He called to the
police relying on phone calls by some unknown people. ANC
representative, candidate to the Elders’ Council of Yerevan, said he
did not verify the reliability of the report personally.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
