After performing his civil duty at polling station #10/21, the Prime
Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, said the elections for the
Yerevan City Council differed from all other elections.

`I have voted for stability and continuity. I hope we’ll be able to
overcome all the difficulties and hardships with joint effort,’ Tigran
Sargsyan said. In his words, today we need stability, which is
conditioned not only by domestic but also international processes.
According to him, the countries that manage to ensure stability are
better suited to overcoming the consequences of the global
financial-economic crisis better.

The Prime Minister hopes all the political forces are ready to accept
any outcome of the elections. `We should form a new tradition. The
losing party should have the courage to accept the defeat,’ he said.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was 319th to vote at polling station
#10/21.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
