NEW BROWSER OF APPLE DOWNLOADED 11 MILLION TIMES IN THREE DAYS

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ In the first three days of Safari 4’s final
release, new browser of Apple, users have downloaded it over 11
million times. That includes more than six million copies downloaded
by Windows users, making the browser’s official release a successful
one for Apple.
Safary process JavaScript 8 times faster than Internet Explorer and
more than four times than Firefox 3. Apple disseminated its browser
not only via web-site, but through the program update system. For
comparison, Firefox’s third version, released in June, 2008 users had
downloaded more than 8 million times only during the first twenty-four
hour. In September Google Chrome showed more modest performance,
according to Nielsen data, some 2 millions users have downloaded it
within the first week, Lenta.ru reports.
