PACE Co-Reporters To Arrive In Yerevan

PACE CO-REPORTERS TO ARRIVE IN YEREVAN

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Co-reporters of the Monitoring Committee of the
Council of Europe John Prescott and Georges Colombier will arrive
in Yerevan on June 15 on a three-day visit. As the NA press office
informed PanARMENIAN.Net, in the framework of the visit the PACE
co-reporters will meet with the Speaker of the RA National Assembly
Hovik Abrahamyan.

John Prescott and Georges Colombier are also expected to meet
Samvel Nikoyan, vice-speaker of the National Assembly and chairman
of the ad hoc commission investigating March 1 and 2 events, as
well as members of the Armenian delegation to PACE, chairman of the
NA Standing Committee on science, education, culture, sports and
youth affairs Artak Davtyan, RA Prosecuor General Aghvan Hovsepyan,
Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan and
representatives of international organizations.

The co-reporters will also meet the first president of Armenia Levon
Ter-Petrosyan, representatives of non-governmental organizations,
former members of the fact-finding group of March 1-2 events, 2008.
