ARMENIA TO WORK OUT A NATIONAL ANTI-DRUG PROGRAM

Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia Arthur
Baghdasaryan received the delegation headed by the Regional Coordinator
of the South Caucasus Anti-Drug (SCAD) Programme Gregory Connor.

Presenting the process of the program, Gregory Connor noted that the
objective of the programme was to establish cooperation between the
three countries of the region – Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Emphasizing the importance of fighting drugs, Arthur Baghdasaryan
noted that Armenia stands for establishment of cooperation between
the countries of the region. He informed that a working group had
been established under the program of arrangements for 2009-2011 of
the Armenia-EU Action Plan to work out a national anti-drug program.
