Baku – APA. "Respect for the people’s right of self-determination,
international decisions and international law, confidence in the
importance of dialogue is a sufficient ground to solve all the
conflicts and slanders in the world," Syria’s President Bashar Assad
said in Armenia before the reception organized by his counterpart Serzh
Sargsyan in his honor, APA reports quoting Novosti-Armenia. Bashar
Assad said they support positive steps taken in Armenia-Turkey
relations and are ready to make efforts for strengthening these
relations. He said normalization of the relations is to the advantage
of both Armenia and Turkey.

"Solution of the problem between Armenia and Turkey, other conflicts
in the Caucasus and Central Asia will pave the way for our businessmen
to make large investments," he said.
