Kaliningrad Governor Attaches Importance To Armenians’ Contribution

KALININGRAD GOVERNOR ATTACHES IMPORTANCE TO ARMENIANS’ CONTRIBUTION IN REGION’S DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPERITY

RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian at the June 19 meeting with RF
Kaliningrad Governor Georgy Boos attached importance to cooperation
between RA and RF regions classing them as one of the main supports of
the two states’ friendly relations. He thanked Kaliningrad Governor
for his efforts, thanks to which nearly 15 thousand Armenians living
in the region have received a possibility to completely integrate
into society, at the same time to keep and develop their national
identity and culture.

Georgy Boos, in his turn, highly assessed Russian-Armenian
centuries-old friendly relations and mentioned that for many years
he has been acting in the direction of further strengthening and
developing them. The Governor also attached importance to Armenians’
contribution in the processes of region’s development and prosperity.

According to the report of the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, during the conversation the interlocutors also
touched upon steps to be undertaken in the direction of developing
economic cooperation
