/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "The fact-finding group could have worked perfectly
provided there were atmosphere of trust and openness. Today,
it’s necessary to create favorable conditions for the interim
parliamentary committee which is to publish a final report on the
activities accomplished," Republican MP David Haroutyunyan, Head of
Armenian delegation in PACE, told today a news conference.
As noted by the speaker, there are still many questions requiring
an answer, "Expert group materials submitted to the parliamentary
committee are still being studied. It still remains to clarify the
10 individuals’ death circumstances, a question demanding a final
answer," he noted. Harutyunyan expressed his negative attitude to the
idea of creating a new fact-finding group. "I find that creating a new
group and involving in it international experts is a very dangerous
idea doomed to failure. It doesn’t lead to anything good, as shown
by other countries’ experience" the speaker said.
