/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Nobody will benefit from hostilities between
Armenians and Azeris, Assim Molladzeh, Head of Azerbaijan’s Democratic
Reforms Party said, as reported by a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent
from Stepanakert.
Armenian and Azeri Ambassadors to Russia Armen Smbatyan and Polad
Byul-Byul Ogly, as well as Head of Federal Agency on Culture Mikhail
Shvidka have today visited NKR to meet with President Bako Sahakyan.
"Such meetings are important for creating at least minimum trust
between South Caucasian peoples. We must strive for stability in South
Caucasus to the benefit of all peoples and the region. Our party finds
that frequent meetings of non-formal character will facilitate contacts
between two countries’ parliaments. That’s the reason I was represented
in a delegation which arrived in Stepanakert," Molladzeh stated.
Disapproving the policy creating enemy image, Azeri parliamentarian
stressed the importance of treating each other with more patience
"to achieve the solution of existing problems". "I hope, our regular
visit will produce more results," he said.
Armenian-Azerbaijani delegation left Stepanakert for Yerevan where
it is currently having a meeting with RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
Armenian and Azeri intellectuals carried out their first visit to
Stepanakert on June 28, 2007 upon the initiative of Armenian and
Azeri Ambassadors Armen Smbatyan and Polad Byul-Byul Ogly.
