MEMORANDUM OF MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING ON COOPERATION BETWEEN RA CIVIL SERVICE COUNCIL AND MINISTRY OF FINANCE OF CYPRUS SIGNED

YEREVAN, JULY 7, NOYAN TAPAN. On July 7, RA Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian met with Foreign Minister of Cyprus Markos Kyprianou,
who is in Yerevan as a member of the delegation accompanying the
President of Cyprus, who has arrived in Armenia on a state visit.

During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Cyprus in
detail discussed a wide range of issues regarding further expansion of
Armenia-Cyprus relations, in particular, cooperation at international
organizations, holding of consultations between the Foreign Ministries,
steps to be undertaken in the direction of making active economic
cooperation and cultural exchanges.

E. Nalbandian and M. Kyprianou touched upon the Armenia-European
Union relations, discussed possibilities of bilateral cooperation
within the framework of the European Neighborhood Policy and Eastern
Pertnership program.

According to the report of the RA Foreign Ministry Press and
Information Department, after the meeting in the presence of
E. Nalbandian and M. Kyprianou Chairman of the RA Civil Service
Council Manvel Badalian and Ambassador of Cyprus to Armenia Petros
Kestoras signed a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding on Cooperation
between the RA Civil Service Council and the Ministry of Finance of
the Republic of Cyprus.
