SERZH SARGSYAN VISITS EMBASSY OF U.S.

YEREVAN, JULY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. On the occasion of the National Holiday
of the United States, Independence Day, on July 7, RA President
Serzh Sargsyan visited the U.S. Embassy and congratulated Embassy’s
high-ranking officials on the occasion of the 233rd anniversary
of independence.

"We perceive the United States not only as a mighty country,
as a country providing the largest humanitarian aid to Armenia,
but also as a country that extended a helping hand to our people
at the most difficult moment, by receiving warmly its great part,
gave them a possibility to develop and to make a contribution to
the strengthening of the United States, as well as to the issue of
preserving their national identity."

During the private talk to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary
of the U.S. to RA Marie Yovanovitch the interlocutors emphasized the
willingness and readiness to advance the Armenian-American relations
in various spheres. They emphasized that the unique and mighty
American Armenian community, active work of various American Armenian
organizations are a real bridge between Armenia and the United States.

According to the report of the RA President’s Press Office, the
Armenian-Turkish political dialogue was also touched upon during
the talk.
