ESTONIAN FORMIN EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO IRANIAN, ARMENIAN COLLEAGUES

Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet expresssed condolences to
Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Armenian Foreign
Minister Edward Nalbandian in connection with a tragic air crash in
the northwestern part of Iran.

"I express deep condolences to the families and relatives of the
people who were on board the aircraft and to all whom this tragic
air crash concerns," Paet wrote in the message of condolences to the
Iranian and Armenian Foreign Ministers.

The passenger liner that crashed in the northwestern part of Iran en
route from Tehran to Yerevan. According to preliminary information
all the people on board the aircraft were killed.

According to Reuters there were 168 people on board the Tupolev
type aircraft.

The aircraft, which belonged to Caspian Airlines, dropped down near
the city of Qazwin soon after it took off from Tehran’s Imam Khomeini
international airfield.
