Moscow. R. Metleboglu `APA. `The negotiations were concrete, deep and
serious.

Of course I am disappointed with that no new decisions were made at
the meeting, but on the other hand, we reached a phase of discussion
on very serious and enough complicated issues’, said OSCE Minsk Group
US co-chair Matthew Bryza after the meeting of the Azerbaijani and
Armenian presidents on July 17 in Moscow.

Bryza said for the first time the presidents discussed the complicated
issues and exchanged the opinions so openly. `However I can’t say that
everything is good and they reached a consensus. The process is going
on and is in very serious phase’.

Bryza mentioned the possibility of separatist Nagorno Karabakh
regime’s participation in the negotiation process and said the
mediators were informed about such opinions. `Naturally the Nagorno
Karabakh’s point of view is not out of attention during the
negotiations. We keep the concern of our friends in Karabakh in focus
of our attention. The agreement can’t be reached without that’.
