RA DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER ARMAN KIRAKOSIAN MEETS WITH ARMENIAN AND TURKISH STUDENTS

YEREVAN, JULY 28, NOYAN TAPAN. On July 27, RA Deputy Foreign Minister
Arman Kirakosian received Armenian and Turkish young people taking
part in the program under the title Tolerance Through Cultural and
Educational Dialogue.

The program is implemented by the Future is Yours charity NGO with
the assistance of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and OSCE Yerevan
Office. Program’s goal is to create an atmosphere of tolerance and
benevolence through Armenian and Turkish young people’s cultural and
educational mutual visits by assisting the dialogue launched between
the two countries.

According to a report by the RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information
Department, at the meeting A. Kirakosian presented the priorities of
Armenia’s foreign policy and Armenia’s relations with the regional
countries. At guests’ request he touched upon the normalization process
of Armenian-Turkish relations, as well as the latest developments in
the Nagorno Karabakh settlement negotiations.
