UNION OF ARMENIANS OF RUSSIA DISSATISFIED WITH TV SHOW ‘RUBIK ALMIGHTY’ ON THE RUSSIA FIRST CHANNEL

ArmInfo.The Youth of the Union of Armenians of Russia is dissatisfied
with the TV show "Rubik Almighty " broadcasted on the Russia First
Channel on August 2. In this connection, the Youth asks Director
General of the First Channel Konstantin Ernst to stop further
broadcasting of the show.
"Russian TV viewers were presented a distorted image of the Armenian
family.
The show is announced as humoristic. In the meanwhile, it aroused
natural indignation of the Armenian youth in Russia. We think the
show does not suit either to the high image of the First Channel or
to the state conception of prevention of xenophobia in the Russian
public. In the Year of the Youth when Russian president urges us not to
stay aside of civil society formation, I address you on behalf of the
All Russian Public Organization "Union of Armenians of Russia" and ask
you to remove this TV program from the air", says Levon Manukyan, Vice
President of the Union of Armenians of Russia for Social Development
and Youth Affairs, in the letter addressed to K. Ernst.
