RESTORATION TENDENCES NOTABLE IN MINE INDUSTRY SPHERE

YEREVAN, AUGUST 6, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Economy Minister Nerses
Yeritsyan said today at the session of the Armenian government that
as a result of the anti-crisis policy implemented by the government
in the second half of the year restoration tendencies will be noted
in the mine industry sphere.
According to him, the issue of the sphere is that in the first half
of the year the indexes were rather low. Even in case the production
volume increased the volume of export remained low, that is to say
the companies preferred to gather the product which the minister
considered potential export.
"We expect that in parallel with the increase of metal prices in
international market, Armenian mine industry companies will start
their export," N. Yeritsyan said.
According to the minister, usually in the sphere of industry the
decline is more speeded up than the restoration.
