ARMENIA NOT STOPPED PREPARING SEISMIC CATALOGS, UNLIKE OTHER CIS COUNTRIES

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia is the only country in the post-Soviet
space, managed not to stop preparing seismic catalogs, professor
Vladimir Kosobokov , a researcher of the International Institute
for Earthquake Prediction Theory and Mathematical Geophysics of the
Russian Academy of Sciences told press conference today.
He mentioned in particular, that After the collapse of the Soviet
Union Armenia managed not to stop preparing seismic catalogs, unlike
countries of Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. These countries
are currently suffering from big gaps in catalogs, while the database
in Armenia is full.
