ASBAREZ MARKS ITS 101ST ANNIVERSARY

LOS ANGELES, AUGUST 14, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. The ARFD Western
America Central Committee Press Office reported that the Asbarez daily
published in Little Armenia is marking its 101st anniversary. On that
occasion the newspaper in its August 14 issue published the reflections
of its former three editors, Christapor Bagratuni, Jean Gosakian and
Vache Brutian on the occasion of the 101st anniversary. And newspaper’s
current editor Abo Poghikian on that occasion wrote: "Asbarez turned
100, it is marking its 101st anniversary today timiditly bending
down before all its past and current employees, appreciating their
sacrifice, their work done with dignity, their modesty."

Noyan Tapan sincerely congratulates its old partner, with which it
has been cooperating for nearly 15 years in the sphere of media and
wishes it further fruitful creative work and progress.
