WANTED PARLIAMENTARIAN GIVES HIMSELF UP

Khachatur Sukiasyan, the member of the Armenian Parliament that
has been on the list of wanteds since last March, has given himself
up. Sukiasyan, one of the supporters of Levon Ter-Petrosyan, is charged
with "organizing riots on March 1, 2008." Vahagn Harutyunyan, the
head of the special investigatory group, told NEWS.am that Sukiasyan
has been detained.

The Parliament member stated earlier that he had no problems with
law-enforcers as he had not committed any crimes.
