Armenian National Committee of America has conveyed remarks of the
Armenian community in America to the U.S. congressmen regarding
protocols on normalization of Armenia-Turkey ties.

ANCA Executive Director Aram Gamparyan has sent a note to the Senate
and House of Representatives in which he expressed concern with
Armenia’s being forced to make dangerous concessions.

"We are concerned that Armenia which is under blockade by Turkey and
faces economic and diplomatic pressure is forced to accept conditions
that threaten its security, future and interests. Provisions on
establishment of a commission on history affairs is a move by Ankara
calling into question "Armenian genocide"and suspends its international
recognition," Gamparyan said in a note.

The note says Armenia and Turkey can not establish strong relations
if Ankara does not recognize the reality and just does not solve
this issue.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
