The Armenian and Russian writers discussed literary and public
issues today.
Members of the Russian delegation expressed willingness to work jointly
towards realization of new initiatives targeted at the reinforcement
and deepening of relations between two friendly peoples.
"Today’s meeting is very important, since only through sincere dialogue
it will be possible to build programs around new ideas and realize
them," Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko said.
"The Days of Russian Word in Armenia are the most large-scale literary
project all over the former USSR. We all were looking forward to this
event," member of the Russian Union of Writers and Journalists Viktor
Krivopuskov said.
