315 CONVICTS RELEASED UNDER AMNESTY AS OF SEPTEMBER 11

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, NOYAN TAPAN. Under the Decision on Announcing an
Amnesty taken by the RA National Assembly on June 19, 315 convicts were
released from prisons of the RA Ministry of Justice as of September 11.

According to the Ministry of Justice, 62 convicts were released from
Nubarashen prison, 25 from Artik prison, 21 from Vanadzor prison,
6 from Goris prison, 66 from Erebuni prison, 35 from Sevan prison,
one convict from Yerevan-Kentron prison, 32 from Kosh prison, 26 from
Vardashen prison, 8 from the Hospital of Convicts, 8 from Abovian
prison’s section of women, 3 from Abovian prison’s section of juvenile
offenders, 4 from open correctional facilities, 8 from Hrazdan prison,
and 10 convicts from Meghri prison.
