Armenian Vice Prime Minister Receives Delegation Of "Veolia" Company

ARMENIAN VICE PRIME MINISTER RECEIVES DELEGATION OF "VEOLIA" COMPANY

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: Armenian vice Prime Minister,
Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan received today
the delegation of "Veolia" company headed by the commissioner on
special programs of the European issues Pier Bruney.

Press department of the ministry told Armenpress that the vice
prime minister also informed that the process of recognizing Yerevan
mayor as a new contract party of "Yerevan Jur" company’s management
contract has ended. This change is agreed with the formation of new
administration system of Yerevan. The vice prime minister expressed
hope that the cooperation with Yerevan mayor will be effective, will
give an opportunity to more quickly respond to running issues and
increase the quality of services provided to the public, pointing
out that it is one of the priorities of the government.

The vice prime minister noted that the Water Economy Committee of the
Armenian Territorial Administration Ministry as a state authorized body
of the sphere, will continue following the programs carried out by the
company. Armen Gevorgyan, positively assessing the cooperation with
the Committee, expressed hope that this tendency will be maintained
in the cooperation with the municipality as well.

Pier Bruney welcomed the change made in the contract and expressed
hope that their cooperation with the municipality will be effective.
