YEREVAN AND PARIS: DISCUSSIONS ON BILATERAL TIES

The delegation headed by Yerevan’s mayor Gagik Beglaryan is attending
Paris from September 26 to October 2 to partake in the 30th General
Assembly of International Association of Francophone Mayors (AIFM).

Mr. Beglaryan and France’s Ambassador to Armenia Serge Smessov have
discussed details of visit and ways of cooperation.

Mr. Smessov said that the visit would become a good opportunity to
share experience of management. In his turn, Mr. Beglaryan expressed
surety that the visit would be effective particularly given successful
cooperation between the two capitals.

It is also noted that Embassy of Armenia is organizing meeting of
mayors of Paris and Yerevan. Mr. Beglaryan will speak welcome speech
at Informational Forum which is carried out within preliminary
organization of Armenian-French meetings on item of decentralized
cooperation.

Is also expected visit to Armenia of Michel Vauzelle, President of
the Regional Council of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
