Information security issue to be discussed at CSIT 2009

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Seventh International Conference on Computer
Science and Information Technologies, CSIT 2009, will kick off in
Yerevan, Armenia, on September 28.
The aim of the conference is to encourage the exchange of scientific
and technological information between researchers in Computer Science
and Information Technologies.
The event will bring together 62 leading IT specialists from the
United States, Russia, Norway, Georgia, Brazil, Poland, Syria,
Ukraine, Germany, Canada and France, leaders of IT companies and
students.
The major topics will be the following: Algorithms, Automata and
Logic, Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorial Analysis, Information
Theory and Coding Theory, Artificial Intelligence and Management
Support Systems, Pattern Recognition and Image Processing, Parallel
and Distributed Computing, Cluster and Grid Computing, Design and
Testing, Telecommunication and Networking, Information Technologies
and Applications.
The conference also includes a workshop on UNL (Universal Networking
Language), which will include 1-day international symposium to discuss
theoretical and technical issues on the basis of papers and demos,
3-day introductory seminar to UNL for people interested in knowing the
UNL or expecting to start working on it, the RA NAS press office said.
CSIT 2009 was initiated by RA Government, RA National Academy of
Sciences (NAS), NAS Institute for Informatics and Automation Issues,
Yerevan Scientific Research Institute for communication facilities, as
well as Synopsys Armenia, Unicomp, Hilink, Virage Logic, Enterprise
Incubator Foundation and Armenian Development Agency.
