ArmInfo. In all its 31 branches Unibank has set more attractive
exchange rates than the market ones. The Unibank press-service told
ArmInfo that the clients will receive an opportunity to exchange
currency according to the variant mutually agreed with the bank.

According to the source, there are some preferences for the users
of UNIStream money transfer systems to avoid losses from currency
conversions.

In particular, Deputy Chairman of Unibank Board Samvel Grigoryan
said that for the clients, who have received a money transfer under
UNIStream system, the purchase of Russian rubles at the Unibank branch
will be carried out at the exchange rate exceeding the index fixed for
that day by 0.05 AMD. If the money is transferred from Russia in AMD,
no commission fee is levied.

To note, UNIStream has been operating in Armenia via its sole partner
Unibank since the second half of 2002.

To recall, the Unibank shareholders are Asset Management (50%) and
EVA Invest (50%).

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
