TURKISH EXPERT: NOT EVERYBODY IN TURKEY CONSIDER ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS IN CONTEXT OF TURKISH-AZERBAIJANI BROTHERHOOD

ArmInfo. Nor everybody in Turkey consider the Armenian- Turkish
relations in the context of the Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood,
Senior analyst at the European Stability Initiative in Turkey (ESI)
Diba Nigar Goksel said at today’s international conference in Yerevan
"Armenia- Turkey: Prospects of Normalization of Relations in the
Light of European Integration".
"Naturally, Azerbaijan’s stance with respect to the Armenian-Turkish
negotiations is perceived in Turkey as a quite important factor,
much affecting our country’s policy on this issue. However, they in
Turkey sincerely hope for establishment of good neighbourly relations
with Armenia", the analyst said.
The conference has been organized by Analytical Center of Globalization
and Regional Cooperation and the British Embassy in Armenia. Experts
and politicians from Armenia and Turkey, a number of ambassadors
and representatives of foreign states in Armenia take part in the
conference.
