ARMENIAN FM MEATS REPRESENTATIVES OF ARMENIAN COMMUNITY

Within the framework of his New York visits, Armenia’s Foreign Minister
of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met representatives of American Armenian
community.

During the meeting with representatives of the Armenian communities of
New York and New Jersey, Minister Nalbandian presented the issue on the
agenda of the Armenian foreign policy and ways of their resolution. He
also presented the details of the settlement of the Karabakh issue
and the normalisation of Armenian-Turkish relations.

During the meeting with the Executive Director of the Armenian
General Benevolent Union, Perch Sedrakian, the Armenian Foreign
Minister discussed issues related to the organisation’s activity
in Armenia and the Diaspora. The interlocutors exchanged views on
Armenian-Turkish reconciliation.

Edward Nalbandian met also with the leadership of the Armenian Assembly
of America to discuss issues related to US-Armenia relations, the
process of normalisation of Armenian-Turkish ties and the latest
developments in the Karabakh conflict resolution.

During his visit to New York, Mr, Nalbandian also met with Armenian
Assembly of America (AAA) representatives and primate of the
U.S. Eastern Prelacy of AAC Cilicia House, Archbishop Oshagan Choloyan,
RA MFA press service reports.

Remind that Serzh Sargsyan is scheduled to meet representatives of
the Armenian communities of New York during his pan-Armenian trip to
start on October 1.
