REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA PRIME MINISTER TIGRAN SARGSYAN RECEIVED A DELEGATION LED BY PRESIDENT OF CIS COUNCIL ON COORDINATION OF AFGHAN WAR VETERANS’ ISSUES RUSLAN AUSHEV

Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a
delegation led by President of CIS Council on Coordination of Afghan
War Veterans’ Issues Ruslan Aushev.

Greeting the guests, Tigran Sargsyan mentioned that thousands of
Armenians were involved in warfare in Afghanistan, and that there is
an Afghan War Veterans’ Union operational in our country.

The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on their programs and
undertakings. They said to be pleased with the Armenia government’s
continued support and readiness of cooperation within the CIS
frameworks.

On behalf of the President of Armenia and himself, the head of
government assured that, mindful of the needs of our servicemen and
veterans, they will keep on backing the public initiatives of the
Armenian Afghan War Veterans Union.
