ARMENIA, GEORGIA INTERESTED IN EXPANDING BILATERAL COOPERATION

On October 19 the newly appointed Ambassador of Georgia to Armenia,
Gregory Tabatadze, presented the copies of his credentials to the
Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating Ambassador Tabatadze on appointment, Minister Nalbandian
expressed hope that he would make an important contribution to
the further reinforcement and development of mutually beneficial
Armenian-Georgian cooperation.

Attaching importance to the accomplishment of the agreements reached
between the Presidents of Armenia and Georgia, the parties discussed a
wide range of issues related to the promotion of bilateral cooperation
in the political, economic and cultural spheres.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Tabatadze exchanged views on a
number of regional issues.
