U.S. POSITION ON ARMENIAN-TURKISH RECONCILIATION UNCHANGEABLE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with
U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian
Affairs Tina S. Kaidanow to discuss prospects of Armenia-U.S.

relations, Armenian-Turkish reconciliation, democratization and
regional security issues.

President Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the assistance the United
States has rendered to Armenia since the day of republic’s independence
and for the efforts aimed at establishment of peace and stability in
the region.

Dwelling on the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation, they emphasized
that normalization of relations between Yerevan and Ankara should
take place without preconditions and within reasonable terms, the RA
leader’s press office reported.
