ArmInfo. The only economic potential of Armenia, a country not rich
in resources, is to create conditions for free sale of production
capacities of the citizens, Ombudsman of Armenia Armen Haroutiunyan
said in a press conference on Friday.

However, he said, antimonopoly institutions in Armenia are not
efficient enough. They are mostly of formal nature and do not protect
the rights of consumers, he said. Ombudsman said the problem depends
on certain subjective factors. "It is necessary to carry out reforms in
the institutional system to contribute to formation of freedom, dignity
and self-sufficiency of the citizens, otherwise, we will be unable
to meet any of the challenges we have faced," the Ombudsman said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
