"RA Foreign Ministry in the person of Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Ghazinyan make every
effort to make my entry to Georgia possible," Chairman of Javakhk
Compatriotic Union Shirak Torosyan informed.

Despite Armenian side’s endeavors, RA MFA attempts so far fail,
Torosyan outlined. "Georgian authorities’ position is still firm and
they are not ready to issue me an entry visa," he said.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Georgian authorities ban Shirak
Torosyan to enter Georgia and visit his relatives. RA Foreign Minister
recently said that Armenian side always brings up this issue in the
course of the meetings with Georgian side.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
