WINNER OF "SUITCASE" JOURNALISM CONTEST RECEIVE PRIZES

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Award giving ceremony of "Suitcase" competition
was held December 18 in Yerevan. The competition was organized by
"People in need" NGO and International Migration Service of Armenia.

Organizers hope that by reading or watching stories prepared
for the competition, people will think again before they become
illegal immigrants. The contest was timed to the International Day
of Migration.

Reporters from the "Golos Armenii" newspaper , Artakarg weekly,
"Hetq" and "Sevan" became winners in "Best Publication" category. In
the category "Best Radio Program" the first place was taken by
Vanadzor-based correspondent of Radio Liberty Naira Bulghadaryan,
the second place was her colleague’s Karine Simonyan.

TV reporters Artak Aleksanyan and Artem Yerkanyan won in the "Best
TV project" category.

Since November 10 selection of materials for the 2010 contest has
been announced.
