Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Russia expects breakthrough in negotiations on
peaceful settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Garabagh conflict.

Today in Baku Vladimir Dorokhin, the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan,
has stated that if (accent was made on word "if") the negotiation
process goes as fast and good as in 2009, then there are chances to
hope for any concrete results.

Following the Garabagh conflict Armenia has occupied 20% of Azerbaijani
territory and evicted 1 million people from places of permanent
residence. Since May 1994 Armenia and Azerbaijan have been applying

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
