Escaped Convicts Found

According to information received by the Criminal-Executive Department
of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, as a result of
work by the criminal-executive department, the National Security
Service and police officers, at around 5:45 pm on December 18, 2009,
Mher Yenokyan, who had fleed from a crime scene on November 27, 2009,
in Nubarashen, was found on the corner of Amiryan and Zakyan streets
in central Yerevan and subsequently arrested.

The other escaped convict, Soghomon Kocharyan, was located in Mughni
village in Aragatsotn province (marz) at around 11 pm, and
subsequently detained. Investigations on the circumstances why
Yenokyan and Kocharyan were in hiding are currently underway.
