Levon Julfalakyan: I was expecting more medals from the World Championships

Head coach of Armenia’s Greco-Roman Wrestling National team, Olympic
champion Levon Julfalakyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

"In February, our team performed quite well in the" World Cup", and
only in the finals our team lost to Russia," Levon Julfalakyan said.

In April, the Armenian fighters returned from the European
Championships with two gold medals, gold medalists were Arsen
Julfalakyan (w/c 74) and Yuri Patrikeev (w/c 120).

At the World Championships in Denmark, Roman Amoyan (w/c 55) won a
silver medal. "I was expecting more medals from the World
Championships, but we will try to correct the mistakes in 2010,"
Julfalakyan said.

According to the head coach, 2010 will be very important for Armenian
fighters, as Yerevan will host "World Cup". "In addition, we prepare
for European and World Championships, " the head coach concluded.
