Turkish-American TV opened in Washington DC

Vashington. Isabel Levine ` APA. A new TV channel highlighting Turkish
problems in the world and US in particular was recently opened in
Washington DC.

According to APA’s US correspondent, Turkish-American TV (TATV) will
broadcast via cable around US.

The creators of the channel will mainly discuss Turkish successes and
problems, including conflict issues like `Armenian genocide’, Cyprus,
Nagorno-Karabakh, etc.
Channel will be conducting shows on historical, social, cultural
matters. TATV will broadcast in Turkish and English.

Most of the employees of the channel are working voluntarily. They say
that they have two potential auditory `Turks and Americans. Turks want
their voice to be heard, Americans want to know more about the Turkish
culture.

The channel is trying to enlarge their range of covered matters.
