ArmInfo. Quality of Life Index 2010 report by the International Living
ranked Armenia the 6th in the CIS space.

The best place to live in the CIS is Lithuania – with final score 73.

Estonia is the second with 71 and Latvia is the third with 70. Then
goes Moldova (65), Ukraine (62). Armenia and Georgian share the 6th
position with final score 56. Belarus and Russia share the 7th position
with the final score 54. Tajikistan, Kyrghyzstan and Azerbaijan
received by 51, Uzbekistan – 49 and Turkmenistan 46. 194 Countries
Ranked and Rated to Reveal the Best Places to Live. To produce this
annual Index the International Living considers nine categories:
Cost of Living, Culture and Leisure, Economy, Environment, Freedom,
Health, Infrastructure, Safety and Risk, and Climate. This involves a
lot of number crunching from "official" sources, including government
websites, the World Health Organization, and The Economist, to name
but a few.

Top 10 in this year’s Quality of Life Index are France (final score
82), Australia, Switzerland, Germany, New Zealand, Luxembourg, USA,
Belgium, Canada and Italy. The lowest final score was given to Somali
(30).
