Hatis Yerevan will face-off against Nadezhda in the next round of the
Sixteenth Finals of the 2009/10 EuroCup Women basketball championship
in the Russian city of Orenburg today.
Nadezhda is an exclusive favourite of the Russian bookmaker Marathon,
who, having faith in the home team winning the game, has priced
Nadezhda’s victory at 1.05 return, while the going rate for a Hatis
victory is 7.50 (bookmakers tend to price up a book so that it is
always in their favour; thus, a higher price assumes the team will
lose).
Armenian bookmaker Vivaro similarly has priced Nadezhda’s victory at
1.10, and Hatis at 5.50.
This is the second game between the two teams: in the first game,
Hatis lost (69-80) in a home game in Yerevan.
