FIFTY FLATS IN THE NEWLY-ERECTED MULTI-FLAT HOUSE WILL BE RENDERED TO FAMILIES OF PERISHED SOLDIERS

Today, the State Committee on Systematization of Housing Programmes
convened its regular session, the first one for the current year,
chaired by its President, Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan.

Minister of Social Welfare Narine Astsatryan presented the latest
investigations and proposals of the committee for the issues of
providing citizens of separate groups with flats and those of improving
housing conditions.

The law drafts on building houses for the families of three perished
soldiers in Martakert region and 2 perished soldiers’ families in
correspondingly Askeran and Martouni were approved by the committee.

According to the programme of construction and overhaul of dwelling
houses for families of perished soldiers the flats of 2 perished
soldiers’ families in Martouni region will be repaired. Other two
houses in Askeran and Martakert regions will be reconstructed and
repaired.

By the programme stimulating fertility and possession of many children
new dwelling houses will be built for 16 families: two houses equally
in Stepanakert and Martouni, 5 – in Martakert, 4 – in Shoushi, 2 –
in Kashatagh and 1 – in Hadrout.

By the decree of the committee new houses will be rendered to families
having expressed a wish to resettle in the village of Mataghis
(Martakert region) and in Norashen (Hadrout region).

The committee also met the problem of the two children of the same
family in Khnapat (Askeran region) having remained without parental
care.

By a number of decrees the committee has adopted today housing problems
of another group of citizens will be settled in near future.

During the session changes and additions were introduced in a number
of decrees of the Committee on Systematization of Housing Programmes,
according to the one of which the incomplete construction of the
18-flat house in Mashtots Street 1 in the town of Martakert, that
was to be built by the programme of arrangements aimed at solving
the social problems of immigrants and refugees, was declared invalid
because of its emergency condition. Other issues were discussed
as well.

At the end of the session A.Haroutyunyan assigned a number of tasks
to the members of the committee, particularly, charged them to specify
the perished soldiers’ families on a waiting list for flats.

At the completion of the construction 50 flats from the multi-flat
house 111A in Toumanyan Street will be rendered to families of
perished soldiers.
