TEHRAN (FNA)- Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Serkisian on Thursday
underlined the significance of cooperation between Iran and Armenia
for regional stability.

Addressing a ceremony commemorating the 31st victory anniversary of
the Islamic Revolution, the Armenian official said that Tehran and
Yerevan have entered a new stage in their ties in recent years.

Pointing to a visit to Iran by the Armenian president, Serkisian
stated that the agreements reached during the trip left positive
impact on bilateral ties and improved them.

Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saqaeian, for his part,
reminded the cultural and historical commonalities between the two
friendly states, and underscored that they have turned into a role
model for the region.

The ceremony, held in Yerevan, was attended by the Head of Islamic
Culture and Communications Organization Mehdi Mostafavi and a number
of the Armenian ministers and officials, the Islamic republic news
agency reported.
