French, Armenian Defense Ministers Sign Agreement of Cooperation

YEREVAN (Novosti-Armenia), February 11’The Ministers of Defense of
Armenia and France, Seyran Ohanyan and Erve Moren respectively, signed
an agreement on bilateral defense cooperation in Paris, the press
service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense informs.
`This agreement will become a legal basis for military cooperation
development between the two countries,’ the message read.
The meeting of the Ministers of Defense and the negotiations in the
expanded structure took place before signing the agreement. The
parties discussed the undertakings of military cooperation and their
prospects, and they also exchanged opinions on the topics of regional,
European and international security.
Ohanyan invited his French colleague to come to Armenia on an official visit.
During the reception held after the signing ceremony, the defense
ministers pointed out the importance of this document and the role of
French Armenians in the development of military cooperation between
the two countries.
