TURKISH DIPLOMAT TO DISCUSS ARMENIA-TURKEY TIES IN WASHINGTON

Turkey’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Firudin Sinirlioglu has started
negotiations in Washington. He is expected to meet with Secretary of
State’s Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy, Richard L. Morningstar,
Deputy Secretary of State James B. Steinberg, and Assistant Secretary
of State Philip Gordon.

The agenda for negotiations are items of Armenia-Turkey reconciliation,
upcoming hearings at the US Congress on Genocide Resolution, item
of energy, and some other highlights, 1NewsAz agency reports citing
Anadoglu agency. According to sources, Sinirlioglu will finish
consultations by February 16.
