US Congress Destination of US Congress allocations for separatist
Nagorno Karabakh has been announced.

Azerbaijan National NGO Forum received a response to its letter of
protest sent to the US Congress concerning the financial assistance
to the so-called Nagorno Karabakh regime, chairman of the National
NGO Forum Rauf Zeyni said.

According to him, US charge d’affaires in Azerbaijan Donald Lu said in
his answering letter that the US government didn’t recognize so-called
"Nagorno Karabakh Republic".

"The United States pursued this policy for many years and it has not
been changed. The assistance allocated for Nagorno Karabakh has only
humanitarian character".

The letter noted that these allocations were managed by not the
so-called NKR administration, but by the international NGOs.

"These resources were spent to the mine-cleaning operations,
restoration of houses and schools, as well as different humanitarian
projects, including health in previous years. This year it will
be spent to the mine-cleaning and water projects. Of course, the
United States is allocating financial assistance to the internally
displaced persons of Azerbaijan, who were forced to leave their homes
as a result of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. These resources are also
managed by the international NGOs and spent to the mine-cleaning,
healthcare, restoration of schools and houses".

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
