Armenian army suffers "serious losses" in skirmish

Armenian army suffered serious loss in a two-hour skirmish with the
Azerbaijani troops near the breakaway Nagornyy Karabakh, Baku based
Lider TV reported on 18 February.

Lider TV’s correspondent said in a report from the front-line in Agdam
District: "Armenian armed forces intensified fires along the
front-line in the second part of the day, especially in Agdam, Tartar
and Goranboy districts. Armenians have intensively fired on the
positions of our national army. The exchange of fire lasted for about
two hours…The enemy suffered serious losses. Having suffered losses
Armenians brought officers, especially snipers, to the front-line.
Afterwards, we heard the news about casualties among our soldiers…"
