YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 23, NOYAN TAPAN. Internet and voice services of
Orange Armenia company were interrupted on the morning of February
23 due to the damaged optical cable of the company in the territory
of Iran. On the same day the company took all the necessary measures
to restore the connection as soon as possible.

According to a press release of Orange Armenia, it will soon purchase
an alternative international channel through the territory of Georgia
to rule out such interruptions in the future. The new channel will
be put into operation in early March.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
