LITERARY AND MUSIC EVENT ORGANIZED AT ABOVIAN PENITENTIARY INSTITUTION ON OCCASION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

ABOVIAN, MARCH 9, NOYAN TAPAN. On the initiative of the Avetik
Isahakian Central Library and with the assistance of the Criminal
Executive Department of the RA Ministry of Justice, a literary and
music event was organized at the Abovian penitentiary institution on
March 8 the occasion of International Women’s Day. The state ensemble
of goosans (Armenian national singers) performed at the event.
In the words of spokeswoman for the RA Ministry of Justice Lana
Mshetsian, at the end of the festive event the Avetik Isahakian
Central Library donated a thousand titles of books to the library of
the Abovian penitentiary.
